HELLO MONDAY

I'm bouncing around a lot today, doing many many things at once. I'm getting ready for my Route for the next couple weeks, packing and organizing and trying to figure out how to get my suitcase in the car with all the work stuff. And not forgetting anything: once I forgot a coat and it was snowing where I was going, 75 and sunny where I live. Always something . . . .

But I also wanted to visit around, the blog roll seems to have been abandoned over the last few months, and I did not get to as many folks as I had planned for IWSG or BotB. Yep, I'm a slacker, not ashamed at all.

Speaking of Battle of the Bands; although I have not done an actual count looks like Tim McGraw took it by a landslide. He was my favorite too (of course). Sorry I did not get to all the participants this round; hopefully I'll make up for it by visiting your regular posts sometime this week.

So much to do . . . . See ya'll later.

Are you going on holiday? Hope you have fun. I'm trying to get round and do more visiting than I have been of late, too.

Not a slacker, just caught up in life, me too, right now, and enjoying it. Today I spent most of the day photographing the removal of three very tall trees from our side yard. Ash trees that were diseased by some little wood eating moth. They've practically wiped out all the Ash trees in PA. Such a shame, so tall, and beautiful, and now all gone. I love trees, so this was hard. We'll be planting more though.
Anyway, enjoy your trip - I'm assuming it's for work, so I hope all goes as planned or better!

Hopefully nothing is forgotten as you travel about. Life can get in the way of blogging any day.

Alex: I probably would have except my son - a long haul trucker - was through this pass a couple days ago and warned me it was snowing :)

Chrys: always fun, despite the work, lol.

Nick: Awesome to see you, thanks for stopping by. The "Route" is just this leg of my business traveling. Sometimes its like a holiday; except they pay me! How awesome is that?

Yolanda: ah, I love sitting around in nature and watching what happens :)

Pat: Seems to be in the way too often these days.

oh my being somewhere snowy and cold without winter clothes is one of my biggest fears in life :)

Hi Donna - life catches us - I went without my jacket the other day and hoped that it wouldn't rain - thankfully it didn't. But long business trips and leaving an essential item behind isn't fun ... I guess a list is the thing - same for each trip near enough ... and a quick check.

Good luck - and working, blogging etc is tiring and we only have so many hours .. take care and all the best - Cheers Hilary

Enjoy your trip!

I've been a slacker too because I am bouncing around from one to do list to another!

You do what has to be done and work around the fallout. Hope your travels go well, and from what I've noticed, a lot of bloggers are not getting about every day as we used to. And we take breaks from posting. The point is that we are still blogging, and perhaps saying more with less posts?

Good luck and watch all those tourists who are starting to clog the road. . .

And a good spare tire -- don't overlook that. All you can do is all you can do. Have fun on your trip. :-)

Often you just have to be satisfied with what you can do. I think we could beat ourselves up all day long about everything we SHOULD have done when we should be celebrating what we DID accomplish.

Dezzy: its better than being hot and without water, lol.

Hilary: if I made a list, I'd probably leave it at home too :)

Diane: yep, got a coat, sweater, sandals and extra socks in the car now.

Thanks Marcy

Hi Squid

Liz: at least you have lots of activities to keep you from being bored.

DG: Always a delight to see a post from you, and a visit. Yep, those tourists sure slow me down sometimes; but then I look at the scenery and its all good :)

Penny!! And Gary ;) I have missed you both. Now I can have a pawsitive attitude with your smiling faces.

Thanks Bev :)

Laurel: See ya again soon.
