Some days, no matter how far ahead I am, there is always just one more thing to take care of.
One more story to critique, one more book to read/review, one more round of revisions, or one last forray into the query realm. I'm almost looking forward to having the power go out so I can read a book by candle light.
Almost. No fireplace for heat, sadly.
Have a good weekend everyone. Stay warm dry and cozy.
There is always something, it beats being bored at least
ReplyDeleteNo Pat, definitely never bored :)
ReplyDeleteMy list is so long, I might never die...
ReplyDeleteand you have to rake all those leaves too :)
ReplyDeleteMost days I feel like I'm playing Whack a Mole with my To Do list, so you have my sympathy! Dezond's comment was the icing on the cake! Happy Holidays!
ReplyDeleteHello Donna. I certainly hope the power doesn't go out. Had ours off for two days after the worst hailstorm in history hit us in Brisbane. Luckily I came up to the coast and had power there! We've been in a heatwave, but are currently having a respite. Hope it remains cooler for Christmas as I'm hosting everyone up here at the beach. Tough! Getting through the cleaning, decorating, shopping then the fun part starts, the cooking. Serious. Love it.
ReplyDeleteI wish you every good wish for Christmas and the New Year Donna! Hope all the critiquing, querying, writing goes well. Writing? What's that?
Denise :)
Unfortunately, I' well aware of that one more syndrome.
ReplyDeleteI live in a rural area where is not uncommon to lose power for a couple of days... that's when I catch up with my reading by the fire! And I love it! :)
